- 38-year experience in all parts of the agricultural chain in most continents, including primary production, postharvest handling, certification, farmer organization, marketing, training, consulting and project design and management.
- Broad view of all aspects of value chains and understanding of the perspective of all players in the chain
- Since 2017 until 2025 active for WFBR, Wageningen Food & Biobased Research (part of Wageningen University and Research) with specialization in postharvest technology and value chain assessment and intervention design in Low- and Middle-Income Countries (LMICs)
- Still cooperating with WFBR, but also active as private consultant via AACI
